Hi Jimmy -

Thank you for autographing my "Darkwing Duck" Disney comic book years ago. It featured an interview with you in it. I was working at Disneyland park at the time... in the early 1990's.

I also really enjoyed meeting you and your family during a family weekend in Lake Tahoe, back when I was dating your cousin, Kevin Christy... all those years ago.

I was recently watching an episode of "The Tick" cartoon and thought the voice of Arthur sounded familiar. I was so tickled when I saw your name in the credits that I decided to look you up on Facebook, which led me to your website.

I'm so happy to see that you're still in the voice over biz, which looks like tons of fun =] Thanks for bringing so much joy to so many with your wonderful voice over talents.

No one is dissing the fine work of Holloway or Winchell, they are legends. But saying, "OMG I can't believe they changed Pooh's voice. So messed up, Disney!!!" when it's about the same person who's been doing it for decades just doesn't make any sense.

Everybody brings their own personal flair to each voice, Martin, I agree. I am personally a HUGE fan of Jim's "Tigger" especially over the original. I think he has a certain humour and even cynicism as Tigger that suits the character quite well. I cannot wait to see the new film in theatres with my 2-year old!

I think Jim is doing a great job with both voices, and I was only born in 1986, but once I have listened to the original Sterling Holloway and Paul Winchell voices I do think those voices have something very special, particularly since they came up with the voices.

I enjoy Robin Williams very much (Jim could've been compared to worse) but honestly? for how long he's been doing voice acting, and for how many big name characters he's done (not to mention the multitude of lesser known ones) he's still a "whoever"? Jim Cummings is FAR more talented and payed many more dues than to be treated literally as a "no name" actor Robin Williams wannabe. The Interviewer needs to go back to school and learn how to prepare for an interview....learn the cast...don't diss the stars.

Well, at one point in the Aladdin cartoon show the Dan Castellaneta genie did a Darkwing Duck impression. Maybe that's where this all started. Jim Cummings' Featherstone sounds like Dan Castellaneta doing his impression of Robin Williams while also doing his impression of... wait for it... Jim Cummings!

It does tick me off too. How exactly does it sound like Robin Williams?! It DOESN'T. It sounds as much like Robin Williams as much as the Genie in Return of Jafar is. He's obviously one of those people who see 'normal' voice actors as just celebrity wannabes. I hate people like that ¬_¬

Hey Jim,
We met in 1989 at your sister's house for Christmas. You walked in the back door and in the voice of Winnie the Pooh you entered, all the kids eyes except your nieces, were popping out of there sockets! Thank you for making that holiday special. Christi and Michael still remember. Our first grandson had his whole nursery done in Winnie the Pooh. When the kids watch Pooh on Saturday morning Christi tells them that she has met Pooh personally and they don't believe her of course. Congrats on a wonderful career and again thank you for making that Christmas in Ca. a special one.
